I was worried and curious!

If there’s no sores or anything on the mouth, and the herpes is genital, can you still catch it from drinking after someone?

  1. Trini gurl says:

No you can’t get genital herpes or Herpes Simplex II like that. You can only get genital herpes by private part to private part contact. But that is a possible way to get Herpes Simplex I which is the virus that causes Cold sores, and yes even if they have no sores on their mouth it is still possible to get the virus.

Nope, but I HIGHLY recommend staying away from them.

  3. Just Another Day says:

No. You can’t catch it by drinking. The only way that you can catch genital herpes is having sexual intercourse with the person who has genital herpes.
