Is it possible for a person to be contaminated with genital herpes from a third world hospital?

A friend of mine had a surgery in her throat…, now she has genital herpes, she blames it on the hospital. Wouldn’t it be from unprotected sex, or is it possible she could get it from the third world country hospital?

Nope not even in a 3rd world hospital. Herpes doesn’t live for long periods of time on objects or away from the body. She wouldn’t get genital herpes from a throat operation. Genital herpes is an std you get it from having oral sex or sexual intercourse with some one that has herpes, but there doesn’t always have to be an out break to pass it on. It’s more likely to be passed on when you have direct skin contact with an open sore or blister caused by herpes. It’s not passed through just touching some one that has it or by getting surgery.
